All the events are included in your camping price and take place in our Family Theme Park in the valley below the campsite.
A swashbuckling mix of piratical fun and entertainment! There will be LOTS of pirates, military and period re-enactors with guns and cannons to make plenty of noise! There will be plenty of music too with shanties and pirate rock.
Follow the gently sloping paths that criss-cross through the trees and shrubs, catching glimpses of the sea as you go. Visit the Crow’s Nest and the Captain’s Seat for spectacular views of Start Bay. On your way study the different plants or take a seat and enjoy a few quiet moments.

A whole host of local star chefs and local producers will come together to showcase a true taste of Devon delights. The two-day family event will see visitors treated to the county’s finest food and drink, with the opportunity to watch mouth-wateringly good workshops and be inspired for the summer season ahead.
Tunes on the Sands is a live music festival held on Blackpool Sands near Dartmouth in Devon. The festival takes place directly on the beach and features live performances, DJ’s, a silent disco, Estrella Beach Club, and Family Entertainment!

In August, the Salcombe Town Regatta will be regaling visitors and local residents alike with a typically packed programme of fun and festivities. From sandcastle competitions to the harbour swim, boat races and fireworks it’s all an opportunity for salty seaside fun.
Come and meet some anemones, strange clingfish, and maybe even fierce velvet swimming crabs with a local Wildlife Ranger. Additionally, enjoy all the entertainment the beach has to offer!

The Dartmouth Royal Regatta has an excellent programme of entertainment and music both in the Marquee and on the Bandstand. Don’t miss the fantastic fireworks and air displays. The shopping village is also a great favourite in the Marquee.

Take your time wandering in and out of the tents and admire the entries in Horticulture, Floral Art, Homecraft and Domestic Pets. Outside witness the showing and judging of Horses, Cattle, Sheep and more, then watch the Grand Parade for the results. With displays and shows in the main arena, local business stands and food stalls, it’s a day out for the whole family.
