Owners are required to clean up after their dogs, using the bins provided.

1. The Sportsman’s Arms

1. Strete Beach

This quiet and scenic beach is part of the 3-mile stretch from Strete to Torcross, making it a peaceful spot to bring your dog. Strete Beach has plenty of space for your dog to explore and is dog-friendly throughout the year. It’s less crowded than some of the other beaches, offering a more tranquil experience for both dogs and their owners.
2. Slapton Sands

Slapton Sands is a long, shingle beach where dogs are welcome all year round. The beach stretches over 3 miles, offering plenty of room for dogs to roam and enjoy the sea. It’s a great spot for both short walks and longer explorations, with stunning views over the nearby Slapton Ley nature reserve.

A 3-mile stretch of sand and shingle, these beaches are fantastic for long walks. Dogs can roam along the shore, with the added bonus of nearby Slapton Ley, a peaceful freshwater lake perfect for a bit of wildlife spotting. Dogs are welcome all year round, making it a great place for every season.
3. Beesands Beach
A mile-long shingle beach bordered by fields and a freshwater lake, Beesands offers a relaxed and scenic walk for dogs. The beach is dog-friendly throughout the year, and the nearby pubs and cafes welcome four-legged guests as well.
4. Dartmoor National Park
For a more rugged and challenging walk, Dartmoor provides miles of open moorland with wild, dramatic landscapes. Dogs are welcome on most of the trails, and they can enjoy the freedom of the wide-open spaces, with plenty of streams and rivers for them to splash in.
5. Salcombe to South Sands
A picturesque walk along the coastline, this trail offers stunning views over the Salcombe estuary and surrounding beaches. It’s an easy walk for dogs with plenty of scenic spots to stop and enjoy the surroundings.

No dogs are allowed in the Leisure Park. At all times dogs must be kept on a short lead in the Caravan Park. A dog walk area is provided where dogs can be exercised without leads. Owners need to pick up after their dog in any part of the Park. Children exercising dogs must be given strict instructions to pick up after them. Help us maintain a clean and pleasant environment for fellow campers. We shall have no hesitation in asking offenders to leave the Park. We have a small number of Glamping Pods which will accommodate dogs, each dog will be charged at £12.50 per dog per night with a maximum of two dogs being allowed per booking. Your dog is only allowed in your allocated Pet-Friendly Glamping Pod and is not permitted to go in any other Glamping Pod. If you are staying on a touring or camping pitch, dogs are charged at £10 per dog per night, with a maximum of two dogs per pitch.
